Kybella® works by dissolving fatty tissue and fat cells, which your body will filter through its normal metabolic process. As the body expels the damaged cells, chin fat will reduce, resulting in a slimmer and more defined chin and jawline for a more contoured, youthful look. 

Once one of our knowledgeable staff members creates your treatment plan during your complimentary consultation, an experienced injection specialist will perform your tailored treatment with Kybella®. The number of injections you receive will vary depending on the amount of submental fat and your desired results. Treatment sessions only take around 30 minutes.

Your treatment regimen will typically include around two to six sessions to ensure you achieve your desired results. Every person is different, and we always customize treatments to your needs and goals.

Kybella® can be an effective treatment to help you achieve your aesthetic goals. Once Kybella® dissolves your submental fat cells, they are removed from your body entirely. When combined with a healthy lifestyle, Kybella® results are long-lasting, and additional or maintenance treatments are not usually necessary.

Kybella® only requires minimal downtime, making it an excellent treatment for individuals with busy schedules. After Kybella®, you may experience swelling, bruising, pain, numbness, or redness in the injection site. These symptoms are usually mild to moderate and fade within one to two weeks. Recovery varies for each person, and some people may have more significant swelling. 

You can gently apply an ice pack to the treatment area to reduce swelling and discomfort. Some clients choose to return to work shortly after treatment, but you may also wish to take some time off depending on your body’s response. While results vary, most clients experience visible improvement in two to four sessions. It typically takes six weeks to see your final results from treatment. After treatment with Kybella®, you can expect reduced fat in the treatment area. If you would like to reduce your double chin and define your profile, you may be an ideal candidate for Kybella®.
